What is the minimum requirement of the height of server room?

The minimum height requirement for iDC mini is 2.4 meters. In general the ceiling height of commercial office is 2.6 meters in Hong Kong, it is more than enough for placing our iDC mini. In case minor adjustment is needed, dismantling the false ceiling can solve the problem easily.

Any condensation of water vapour will occur inside the rack?

Our iDC mini solution is in an enclosure environment in which no condensation of water vapour will occur as there is no moisture supply.

What is the noise level of iDC mini?

We have made some acoustic work in minimizing the noise level to a reasonable level. However, it is also recommended to put our iDC mini in an isolated room apart from the working environment.

Is there any maintenance service after purchase?

We will provide one year maintenance service with two times onsite checking.

Is there any contingency backup when the cooling system fails?

The cooling unit is operated with 2 nos. of independent 1.5Kw cooling component. When one of the cooling components goes wrong, the other one is still in operation. Therefore, there is sufficient time for replacement preparation.

How come a 6KVA UPS is enough to support both cooling system and servers?

As the cooling capacity of iDC mini is 3Kw for IT equipment and the refrigeration system consumption is around 2Kw only, it is appropriate to use 6KVA UPS which is sufficient for the whole system with power factor at 0.9 already.

Is drainage pipe work required for the iDC mini installation?

Absolutely not. Since there is no condensation of water due to no moisture supply in the enclosure, no drainage pipe work is needed.
