K. Wah Construction Materials Limited (K. Wah) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Galaxy Entertainment Group, a vertically integrated resources company that supplies aggregates, ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS), cement, and other downstream building materials, with a strong focus on creating value in a sustainable manner.
K. Wah chose to use iDCmini (2 racks solution with one cooling unit) at the branch office in Kowloon Bay. It is the best solution to support the branch because it is highly mobile and reliable. Their main site is located at Tai Po with their standard server room also built by DCL.

A: This is an excellent solution with low setup cost and fast deployment. Since our site in Kowloon Bay is small, it perfectly fits our simple site preparation requirements.

 

Q: How do you feel about the outlook and presentation of the iDCmini?
A: The appearance looks smart and rigid. I particularly like the rack from Germany which is durable and demonstrates high coefficient of performance and reliability.

 

Q: Do you think the iDC monitor helps in remote site monitoring?
A: It really helps in achieving better planning and trouble-shooting. The software – iDC CMS is very user-friendly. I can view the status and mapping of main computer room and hub room anytime and anywhere just with my iPad.
